A very trusted Californian highly recommended Sichuan Pavilion because of its huge Tahitian drinks and delicious, more authentic than usual cuisine. So it did not take too much convincing to get PB and I down there a couple weeks ago with a bunch of friends. There is a lack of pictures....because once I started eating, I stopped documenting. Just go. Get the dan dan noodles and dumplings in sichuan sauce and the suffering bastard to drink. Oh and they have pandas on their menu (I heart pandas).

Don't forget to get the steamed pork bacon. That was awesome! We got it after asking the waiter for the dish he recommended that reminded him of home. Super fatty and sweet!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely gotta try this place. I've heard about it from several sources now, including some Chinese immigrant friends, which suggests it must be good. How do the dan dan noodles compare to the amazing ones we ate this summer at Source?
ReplyDeleteSent to Anthony. He loves Tahitian drinks, or whatever you call them. Rum and umbrellas and he's there.
ReplyDeleteThat looks good... I want to go for dim sum soon. Actually, I'm really craving congee for some reason. Do you guys know any places that have good congee here?
