Teeny Tiny Kitchens

Well, PB and I are moving on Friday. Right now, I am pulling out my hair trying to figure out how we are going to literally get all of this into boxes down the street and then back in some semblance of an order. While, I'm excited about having a new place to decorate and which can house a possible future baby (bulldog), the kitchen is.....tiny. And not just tiny.......UGLY. Like, it hasn't been updated since the 80's. It has terrible florescent lights and this yellowish paint...ugh. Thank God for Lonny Magazine and the Domino files, because they've given me some inspiration as to how I might salvage the situation. These pictures convince me that all I need is some awesomely dramatic paint or wall paper, and maybe some sort of beautifully danging chandelier and we might have a place we actually want to cook in. But what can I do to cabinets I hate in place I rent? Ugh!

Note: the last one....is not so small, and I DIE for those floors!
Photos 2,3, and 4 are from Lonny Magazine. Photos 1 and 5 are from Domino Magazine.

  1. Thank god I have you on my team. I think these pictures are a good blueprint for us to emulate/draw inspiration from. We just need to get creative and have an understanding landlord
