Sleek Legs
While catching up on some of my street style reading, I kept coming across these wonderful paneled leggings. They definitely take their inspiration from the military theme, and I think they would be much more flattering than your traditional legging. I believe these first ones are from Alex + Olivia, and the other three are Helmut Lang. If your budget is not quite in the Helmet Lang range, I found this great DiY here. This makes me really want to learn to sew. I recently acquired my grandmother's sewing notebook and it's very cool. It's in a vintagey moleskin-type black notebook, and there must be over a hundred pages of her sewing notes with diagrams and everything. She was an artist and very good at creating things with her hands, including amazing food and clothing. I on the other hand... somehow i don't think i got her coordination or patience. Sigh.
